Summer

Hey everyone!

I can't believe 1) that summer is almost over and 2) that I have not blogged in months! Yikes! No excuse except that I have been busy spending time with my niece Grace, brother Bob, and sister-in-law Katherine, mom and dad, friends, guitar, etc...

It has been a good summer. I have been able to take some time off up in NH and do some hiking, kayaking, even a little tennis and golf, and, of course, hanging out with Baloo. I have also been doing some good writing and am excited about which direction my songwriting is going. It's fun...And, man oh man, it has been HOT in the northeast. That part sucks so I have pretty much opted to be up in NH closer to the lake where I can swim as much as possible. It's nice being so close now.

A couple of weeks ago I watched Grace, my niece, walk for the first time and it was magical. She looks like a drunken sailor when she walks and she is having so much fun exploring and making everyone laugh and be as silly as possible. Cuteness. Last week I got out to Martha's Vineyard for a couple of days to visit my good friend Laura and have been making regular trips to the north shore to visit my bff Dodi and her boyz....she lives in London normally so it's been so good to have some quality hang time.

I am heading back up to NH for the remainder of August and I am very excited to drink in the rest of the summer as much as possible. I hope everyone has had some good adventures these past few months. Let me know what you have been up to when you have a chance!!
